The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum and Garden transports the visitors back in time to the 1800s –1830s, when the building was the Mount Vernon Hotel, a popular country resort for New Yorkers seeking to escape the crowded city. The eight period rooms are furnished with 19th century decorative arts. Guided tours are currently on Monday and Friday at 11 am and 2:30 pm. Tickets/Reservation are required in advance.
