The Center for Elder Abuse Solutions, (CEASe), formerly known as NYCEAC, was launched in 2009 to improve the way professionals, organizations and systems respond to elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation and Concerned Persons in the lives of older adults receive support. CEASe initially accomplished this through an unprecedented level of collaboration and coordination in partnership with government and non-profit agencies. Now, through CEASe, these organizations provide a streamlined and rapid response to elder abuse cases in New York City, New York State and across the United States. CEASe also serves concerned persons in the lives of older adults who are abused or neglected.
